A fire at a Chinese restaurant in Rockingham has caused $300,000 damage.
Firefighters were called to the Exclusive Chinese Cuisine restaurant on Rockingham Beach Road around 9pm on Monday.
It took crews about an hour to bring the blaze under control.
Residents in an apartment hotel above the restaurant were evacuated.
No one was injured.
It is believed an unattended pot left on the stove caused the fire.
