A 46-year-old Halls Head man has been charged over an alleged low-speed chase.
The man was allegedly driving a white Ford Falcon panel van along Canning Highway in Applecross around 8.40am on Sunday.
Police allege he was driving on the wrong side of the road, through red traffic lights, over median strips and along a footpath.
After numerous calls from members of the public, police saw the car travelling at low speed and stopped it on Canning Highway near Wilcock Street.
The driver was taken into custody.
The Halls Head man has been charged with reckless driving, failing to stop, no authority to drive and possessing methylamphetamine.
He will appear in the Fremantle Magistrates Court today.
