Police have charged a teacher from a school in Halls Head following an altercation with a student in a classroom.
It will be alleged that during the altercation the teacher grabbed the 13 year old student by the back of the neck and pushed him to the ground Tuesday, August 29.
The incident was reported to Police and the teacher, a 48 year old man from Meadow Springs, has been charged with Common Assault.
He is due to appear in the Mandurah Magistrates Court on September 19.
