A 38 year old woman from Halls Head has been charged by Child Abuse Squad detectives.
The charges are the result of their investigation into her activities whilst employed by the Department of Corrective Services.
It will be alleged between February and May 2017, the woman engaged in consensual sexual acts with a 17 year old boy who was in detention.
The woman has been charged with three counts of indecent dealing of a child over 16 years by a person in authority and one count of procures a child over 16 years to perform an indecent act by person in authority.
She is due to appear before the Armadale Magistrates Court today, 20 June.
