A 24-year-old man from Kirup has had a charge of grievous bodily harm upgraded to murder following a fight in the town centre last month.
The 56-year-old victim was rushed to Royal Perth Hospital in a critical condition where he died 11 days later.
It follows an altercation between two men in the Kirup town site on July 14.
As a result of ongoing investigations conducted by the Homicide Squad and Bunbury Detectives, a man has had a charge of grievous bodily harm upgraded to murder.
The 24-year old man is due to appear in the Bunbury Magistrates Court today.
