A 22-year-old man has been charged after a serious crash in Oakford on Wednesday.
It will be alleged the man was travelling west on Thomas Road around 1.20pm in a grey Ford Falcon utility when he collided with a white Ford Transit van travelling east.
The driver of the van, a 58-year-old man was taken to Royal Perth Hospital with a broken leg.
The 22-year-old was charged with attempted unlawfully to kill and endangering the life, health or safety of a person, and is awaiting surgery before a bedside hearing can be held.
Anyone who witnessed the collision, who saw either the Ford Falcon utility or the Ford Transit van prior to the crash, has dashcam footage or has any information, is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
