Detectives have charged a man after he was allegedly caught filming a woman and committing an indecent act in public.
Police will allege just before midday on Sunday the 39-year-old man used a handheld video recorder to film a woman entering and exiting a shopping centre and loading her shopping into her car while in a parked vehicle at a car park near Byford Market Place.
It's understood he then performed an obscene act while in his parked vehicle.
Authorities arrested the Byford man at the scene and charged him with one count of obscene acts in public.
He's due to appear in Armadale Magistrates court next week.
Police are continuing to investigate electronic storage devices owned by the man.
