Police have charged a 43-year-old man over a pursuit through Mandurah.
It's alleged the man was driving a stolen Holden Colorado utility on Mandurah Road in Madora Bay around 10.20pm on Sunday when he failed to stop for police.
The vehicle had been stolen from Barragup.
The police helicopter tracked the Holden as it travelled on several suburban roads including Allnutt Drive, Park Road, Mandurah Terrace, Randle Street and Pinjarra Road.
The driver later abandoned the car on Old Pinjarra Road and was arrested shortly after.
The 43-year-old Mandurah man has been charged two counts of stealing a motor vehicle, two counts of no authority to drive, stealing, failing to stop, reckless driving, excess 0.02%, possessing drug paraphernalia and criminal damage.
He was refused bail and is due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court today.
