Peel Chamber of Commerce and Industry General Manger Andrew McKerrell has resigned.
Mr McKerrell served in the roles of Business Education Project Officer and General Manager for nearly 10 years.
In that time he oversaw the Chamber team deliver significant large-scale flagship events such as the ALCOA Peel Business Excellence Awards, the Future Proof Peel Business Conference and the Annual Chamber Soiree.
“It was very difficult to accept his resignation,” said PCCI President Donna Cocking.
“Andrew has always been a consummate professional, a great leader, and a loyal, trusted friend to all businesses. He will be sadly missed.”
In a statement, the PCCI Board said they will now "embrace new beginnings and new opportunities" to guide them into the future.
