A man has been left shaken after two men robbed him in the middle of the afternoon.
Detectives said a 20-year-old was walking across Gwynne Park in Armadale just after 3pm on Sunday when he was approached by two men.
One man pulled the victim's backpack, forcing him to the ground, the man then proceeded to steal the victim's mobile phone before running off across the Park to Townley Street.
The offenders ware last seen heading towards Forrest Road.
Both men are described as being 20-30 years of age with dark skin, short spikey hair and both wearing dark coloured clothing.
Police said it's possible the pair were in the vicinity of a supermarket on Seventh Road before the incident.
Detectives would like to speak to anyone who saw the incident in the park, or the men prior or after the incident.
Members of the public that live in the area or who drove through the area are asked to check their CCTV or dashcam vision for anything that may be of assistance to police.
