Rockingman man hit by car in critical condition

A 36-year-old man from Rockingham is fighting for his life in hospital after he was hit by a car early this morning on Patterson Road.

Traffic Enforcement Group Officers are investigating the crash which happened in East Rockingham just after 1am on Sunday.
 
Police said a beige Toyota Avalon was driving south-westerly on Patterson Road, approximately 100m south of Charles street (1km north of Ennis Road)
 
The car collided with a man who had walked onto the road.
 
A 36-year-old man was conveyed to Royal Perth Hospital where he is currently in a critical condition.
 
Police would like to speak to anyone that witnessed the crash, or saw the vehicle or the man prior to the crash.
