The City of Mandurah's verge collection is currently underway, with trucks to tackle Area 7 from Monday.
This will cover some of the eastern suburbs of Parklands and Stake Hill.
The following week, Halls Head and the remaining areas in the south will be covered.
The City is reminding residents fines can be handed out if waste is put on the verge more than a week prior to collection.
Whitegoods, furniture, scrap metal, timber products and general junk is accepted.
