A 33 year old Warnbro man has been charged with firearm and stealing offences following reports a man would not pay his bill at a restaurant in Northbridge last night.
Perth Police attended the William Street restaurant at around 7pm and spoke to a man who appeared agitated and was acting erratically.
Officers conducted a search of a bag that was at the man’s feet where they allegedly located items including a sawn-off shot gun, ammunition and a balaclava.
Perth Detectives have charged a 33 year old man from Warnbro with possess stolen property, breach violence restraining order, possess firearm with circumstances of aggravation and two counts of stealing.
He will appear in the Perth Magistrates Court on June 13.
Inquiries are continuing.
