A winning Lotto ticket worth more than $774,000 has been sold in Waikiki.
The Saturday Lotto ticket was sold at Waikki Village Newsagency.
Manager Evelyn Hinds said she couldn’t contain her excitement when she discovered the news.
“I was here by myself at 6:30 this morning when I found out we had a winner, I wanted to scream,” she said.
“I’ll admit, I did end up screaming, which didn’t really help my already sore throat.
“I wanted to call all my work mates to share in the news.”
Lotterywest spokesperson Jennie Fitzhardinge said the win marks WA’s 30th Division One winner for 2019, which leads in to another massive week for players.
“There is more than $100 million up for grabs for our players this week,” Ms Fitzhardinge said.
“Thursday’s Powerball has jackpotted to $80 million which is then backed up with Saturday Lotto’s $20 million Superdraw.
“Saturday Lotto is the game that produces more WA winners than any other game and it is really exciting when Superdraws give players the chance to share in a bigger slice of the pie.”
